PHILLIP ISLAND WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Your day begins with a visit to the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park where you will meet the who’s who of Australian animals during an exclusive keeper-led experience. Hand feed kangaroos and wallabies, pet a koala, walk with dingos, feed furry little sugar gliders, and meet many more Australian animals.

Stroll the boardwalks around The Nobbies absorbing coastal views at lookout points set amongst natural sea bird gardens. Be transfixed by the thundering blowhole and keep your eyes out for a daylight sighting of the Little Penguins. As the sun begins to set, the journey continues along the Summerland Peninsula toward the Penguin Parade visitor centre. Travel off-road along the rugged island coastline and spot wild wallabies and Cape Barren geese as they graze at dusk.

Prior to the arrival of the Little Penguins, take an informative journey through the penguin colony then take your seat away from the crowds in the wonderfully located beachfront viewing stand offering superb viewing of the penguins emerging from the water and crossing the beach.

Dinner will be served in popular seaside village of Cowes at a favourite local restaurant serving a palette-pleasing menu that demonstrates the freshest seasonal produce the island and its surrounds have to offer.
